Derrick first joined HSP in 2005 as the Aberdeen General Manager, before becoming MD of in August 2016. He has over 30 years of experience in the valve business across manufacturing, service, and distribution and before joining HSP, spent 15 years in Tyco. Today, he’s responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing its long-term strategies, and overseeing global growth.

As HSP’s Sales Director, Richard is responsible for the valve business across the Eastern Hemisphere. Based in Dubai, he has a proven track record in growing sales. Richard established the Middle East business in 2010, initially in Qatar, but this later moved to Dubai in 2013 to better support the company’s international growth.

Vairamoorthy is based in Dubai having transferred to the valve business in 2018, and has over 26 years’ experience in finance management. Before joining HSP, he spent 14 years with Edgen Murray FZE, where he held various roles including heading up the Middle East and APAC finance teams.

Anand joined HSP in October 2022, and is responsible for the valve automation and flow control business across the Middle East. Ideally located in in Abu Dhabi to support HSP’s growth ambitions and out clients in the region, Anand has a proven track record in growing sales and developing business.

Darcy Steinhardt
After joining HSP Valves in 2014, Darcy established the APAC FPSO business and is ideally located near the six key FPSO players. Based in Kuala Lumpur, he has a proven track record of booking large orders of high-integrity actuated valve packages with FPSO operators, EPCs, and OEMs supplying to floater operators.

John Sinclair
John has worked in the valves industry for over 35 years. He joined HSP in 2004 as an Area Sales Manager before becoming General Manager of the Teesside business in 2008. John is also the Group specialist and Business Development Manager for the Maxseal range of solenoid valves, controls, and panels we provide to end users and OEMs.

Mark Kennedy
Mark is responsible for valve and actuation business development across the North Sea and Scotland. Based in Aberdeen, he has a strong track record both in growing sales and establishing new strategic accounts. Mark joined HSP in early 2019 after various UK-based and international roles for several leading valve companies stretching over 30 years.

Roddy Philp
Roddy’s responsible for project sales in the UK and Europe. Based in Newbury, he’s highly customer-focused, building relationships and forging partnerships with our EPC and OEM clients. Roddy’s held various roles at HSP including Aberdeen General Manager from 2014-2020, before returning to Newbury to grow our project-specific valve business.

Based in the UK, Stephen joined HSP in Feb 2020 in the Automation Team, providing technical and commercial support for actuation and controls-related products. He has over 30 years’ experience working in the oil and gas industry, with a strong track record in providing solutions for automated valve applications.
